When he was a boy, he favored basketball over any other
sport.
As a young person, you dream big for the future but not many people can achieve the same goals they had were growing up. That, however, was not the case for Jason Levien.
Turning his passion into a career, Jason entered the sports industry and the highlight of his career came when he became the Agent Executive for NBA team Sacramento Kings and in the year 2011, he become co-owner of an NBA Team, the Philadelphia 76Sixers.
I was fortunate enough to have a little chat with Jason Levien recently and it turns out he has a great deal of optimism for the AirAsia ASEAN Basketball League. As one of the youngest and the only league in the South East Asia region that pits professional basketball clubs from ASEAN countries. “In my opinion, the AirAsia ASEAN Basketball League has a bright future, where it will lead to many countries establishing new clubs to become ambassadors of their countries.” said Mr. Levien.
When asked about his prediction on which club will become the champion of AirAsia ASEAN Basketball League Season 3, he said “It’s tough to predict the champion this year, with 3 new clubs joining, and sum up of 2 clubs from Thailand and Philippines, and one club from Vietnam, Saigon Heat, that seems very eager to be a part of theAirAsia ABL, I am very excited to see who will come out as the champion in season 3. It will be an exciting journey for the league next year!”
