Game 7 sees another derby, this time between the two teams from the Philippines as the San Miguel Beermen face off against the AirAsia Philippine Patriots for the first time this season. 

The Beermen will be coming off of a narrow 6 point loss in overtime to the Westports Malaysia Dragons last Sunday and will be looking to make up for that in their home opener. On the other hand, the Patriots will be coming in with confidence after a comfortable win in their first game against the Cobras.

The Beermen have  to rebound the ball better, they were out-rebounded 34-49 by the Dragons in their last game.  Dalron Johnson, Richard Jeter and June Mar Fajardo will try to solve this problem for the Beermen in this big game. The Patriots came in as the team who scored the most points in the opening weekend with 86 points.  Nakiea Miller led the Patriots with a monster double-double 24 points and 18 rebounds.  Miller will get help from fellow import Anthony Johnson who scored 17 points last Saturday.
