The ASEAN Basketball League announced sanctions for incidents that occurred this month.

The San Miguel Beermen’s Gabe Freeman has been given a one game suspension and fined an undisclosed amount for Unsportsmanlike Conduct and Unnecessary and Excessive Physical Contact for his actions during the game in Singapore last Sunday the 24^th of February. The JobStreet.com Singapore Slingers’ Kyle Jeffers has also been fined an undisclosed amount for Unsportsmanlike Conduct for his actions during the same game.

The Beermen’s Michael Burtscher has received an undisclosed fine following a comment regarding league officials made via his public Twitter account in early February. The Slingers’ Rashad Jones-Jennings has also received an undisclosed fine for making inappropriate comments about league officials during a media interview.

All parties have been informed of the league’s findings and as per league rules will be given 36 hours to launch an appeal.
