Satria Muda BritAma Continues Domination Over KL Dragons
Tuesday, January 05, 2010, Malaysia – The second meeting between KL Dragons and Satria Muda BritAma took place today at MABA Stadium, Malaysia.

Their initial meeting at the BritAma Arena, Jakarta, Indonesia on 25 October saw Satria Muda take an early 10 point lead in the first quarter and continue to control the match, winning 91 – 67 against the KL Dragons.

KL Dragons sent in Jamal Brown, Rudy Lingganay, Chris Kuete, Koh Way Tek and Guganeswaran to go up against Satria Muda BritAma’s Nakiea Miller, Christian Sitepu, Youbel Sondakh, top scorer Alexander Hartman and recent addition Mario Wuysang.

At the start of the match, Satria Muda BritAma’s Nakiea Miller won the jumpball against KL Dragons’ Jamal Brown and Miller proceeded to put Satria Muda ahead with an early 3 pointer. Satria Muda continued to push forward and at the end of the first quarter, had already muscled their way to a 10 point lead, ending 24 – 14 against the KL Dragons.

Satria Muda BritAma proceeded to increase their lead to 19 points, ending 40 – 21 at half time. Tired of taking the back seat, KL Dragons attempted to take back the match in the third quarter, but only managed to reduce Satria Muda’s lead by 3 points, ending the quarter 37 – 53 against Satria Muda.

KL Dragons continued to press on in the fourth quarter, and with 4 minutes left on the clock, KL Dragons had managed to close Satria Muda’s lead to just 10 points. At the final buzzer, Satria Muda BritAma maintained their lead and ended the match with a 12 point lead, winning the match 69 – 57 against KL Dragons.
