10 participants were randomly selected during half time and each participant was given 30 seconds to make as many shots as possible from the free throw line. One missed shot meant elimination.
Philippine Patriots fan Karl Chan probably didn’t expect 5 December to be his lucky day. Besides the joy of the Patriots winning their match against Satria Muda BritAma, Karl also won the trip after making 9 free throws in 30 seconds.
Karl will be travelling with the Patriots to Malaysia on 9 January and will be given two VVIP tickets to watch the match against KL Dragons at MABA Stadium, Malaysia.
The Philippine Patriots, who are currently at the top of the League Standings, will be looking to secure a much needed win against KL Dragons to keep them ahead of Satria Muda BritAma, who are only one point behind in second place.
The Patriots, who were missing two of their key players, Nonoy Baclao and Elmer Espiritu during the 13 December match were unable to fight off the Brunei Barracudas, who ultimately won the match 95 – 70.
According to Philippine Patriots’ Team Operations Coordinator Albert Tirona, Espiritu is fully recovered and will be playing in their next match on 19 December against KL Dragons at Ynares Sports Arena, Manila, Philippines.
