Getting back on winning track, the Singapore Slingers fought hard and took the match against the Thailand Tigers with a final score of 69 – 66. With 19 seconds left on the clock, the Singapore Slingers evened the score 66 all. Players Michael LeBlanc and Kyle Jeffers sealed the Slingers’ win seconds later.

After the final buzzer, the Slingers received more good news when 29-year old Forward/Centre, Pathman Matialakan proposed to his long-time girlfriend Li Ling. Pathman got down on one knee on Centre Court and proposed, and a blushing Li Ling accepted in front of a cheering crowd.
