The Bangkok Cobras were formed in 2011 and will be the second professional basketball team from Thailand to compete in the AirAsia ASEAN Basketball League’s third season. Founded and managed by Tom Griffin and Jeffrey Premer of Baryon Capital Corporation, the Cobras are a result of a collaboration between Priscus Verus Sports, a sports marketing and management company and local business leaders in Bangkok. The team promises a very deep and fundamental commitment not only to the AirAsia ABL but also to the entire Thai community as its common goal is for the development of basketball in Thailand, both at the grassroots level and at the elite level.
